A man gets drunk when he eats cakes as his body ferments carbohydrates and turns them into alcohol due to a rare condition. Nick Carson, 62, from Lowestoft in Suffolk, suffers from a disorder called auto-brewery syndrome (ABS), which means that he can get drunk without consuming a single drop of alcohol.
It may sound pretty fun, however, the condition can be scary as eating a cake can leave Nick three times over the legal driving limit in a few minutes.
