(File photo) + May 01, 2021 THE City Government of Bacolod has retained the curfew hours from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. and the liquor ban as it remained under the modified general community quarantine status (MGCQ) from May 1 to 31, 2021. Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia issued Executive Order (EO) No. 21 for the extension of the MGCQ in Bacolod City from May 1 to 31. Leonardia, who signed the EO on April 29, said while Bacolod City has maintained its MGCQ category, its constituents must not remain complacent, especially that in the last two weeks from April 13 to 26, 2021, Covid cases in the city have spiked again.

Leonardia issues EO on guidelines for travel into Bacolod

SunStar + January 18, 2021 BACOLOD City Mayor Evelio Leonardia has issued Executive Order (EO) No. 1, establishing the consolidated guidelines for travel into the City of Bacolod. Leonardia, who signed the EO on January 4, 2021, said that during the modified general community quarantine in November and December 2020, the number of positive coronavirus cases in Bacolod City had been greatly reduced and only less than 50 active cases. Based on data collected by the Emergency Operations Center, a total of 29 persons who have entered Bacolod City hd tested positive for the coronavirus from October 2020 to present. Leonardia said while the city saw reduced number of infected cases, such positive outlook may be endangered by travelers coming from the outside.
