She’s waiting for a lung transplant. She lost one lung from a fire 19 years ago, and has developed Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in the remaining lung. It upsets me that someone has to pass away for me to get a lung. It’s bothered me from day one, I know that’s how it works, and it’s hard to get lungs…especially now with COVID, she said. ....
