John Broderick, president of Old Dominion University, and Jim Cervera, retired Virginia Beach police chief, were both honored at the BRAVO! Celebration of Leadership 2020 event on Oct. 22 at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. Both are alumni of the Chamber's LEAD Hampton Roads program. Broderick was named First Citizen of Hampton Roads and Cervera received the Julian F. Hirst Leadership Award.
