In the parking lot of the Guitar Center at One Hundred Oaks, Nancy Douglas, a sergeant with the Vanderbilt University Police Department, is peering into a sewer grate.

Lewis is a cat who lives in the shopping center parking lot, and for the past year, Vanderbilt police officers â tasked with patrolling the nearby Vanderbilt Health facility â have been feeding him. Douglas has formed a bond with the feline that seems like love. I lean over the grate, and the golden eyes of an orange tabby stare up at me.Â

RANGELEY The Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting Jan. 27 via Zoom and announced election results.
Joanne Dunlap, who served on the executive board as president in 2020, was reelected to a one-year term as chamber president.
Margie Jamison, Linda Dexter and Ken McDavitt, who all served on the executive board in 2020, were reelected to one-year terms on the executive board, Jamison as vice president, Dexter as treasurer and McDavitt as member at large. New chamber Director Sue Damm of Rangeley Region Sport Shop was elected executive board secretary.

The Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting Jan. 27. The meeting was conducted via Zoom because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the meeting Margery Jamison announced the annual election results. Joanne Dunlap, who served on the executive board as president in 2020, was reelected to another one-year term as chamber president, according to a news release from the chamber.
