Brainerd police ARRESTS A 20-year-old woman was arrested at 4:02 a.m. Wednesday for fifth-degree drug possession during a traffic stop on Highway 210. Three people were arrested at 2:16 a.m. Tuesday for drug and controlled substances possession charges during a traffic stop on Southeast 13th and Laurel streets. ....

Brainerd police ARRESTS A 72-year-old man was arrested at 12:22 a.m. Friday for misdemeanor disorderly conduct and assault on the 1900 block of South Sixth Street. A 24-year-old man was arrested at 9:40 a.m. May 27 for third-degree burglary on the 500 block of North Third Street. A 36-year-old woman was arrested at 1:04 a.m. May 27 for third-degree driving while intoxicated and possession of an open bottle during a traffic stop on highways 25 and 18. ....
11:38 a.m. Monday: 1500 block of Park Avenue, Worthington, male unable to get up. Crashes Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office: 12:55 p.m. Saturday, 400 block of Fourth Street Northeast, Pipestone. A 2007 Ford Edge operated by Roger Vandekieft of Pipestone collided with a 2011 legally parked Chevy Silverado owned by Judy Smith of Pipestone. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported. PIpestone County Sheriff’s Office: hit and run, 1:32 p.m. Sunday, Pipestone. A 2017 GMC Sierra owned by Dale Hess of Pipestone was damaged while parked at either Hank’s Foods or Anytime Fitness in Pipestone. Gift Shop opens Wednesday in the Union Market area of Northeast D.C. “We’ve had this idea for quite a while,” co-founder Tamon George told WTOP. “One thing that we always try to do is think of ways to empower other small businesses like ours and find avenues for other people to be successful.” Located on Fourth Street Northeast, just a short walk from the NoMa/Gallaudet Metro station, the new brick-and-mortar store will be open Wednesdays to Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. “We’re just trying to elevate this thing to where somebody can feel like they’re in a store that could be on Madison Avenue or any real hip and trendy place,” George said. ....
