What are the top Canadian rare earths stocks? These companies on the TSX and TSXV have performed the best so far this year.
Although they usually get less attention than gold, copper and lithium, rare earth elements (REE) are important metals for the global economy, especially in the 21st century.
The high-strength REE magnets found in much of today’s essential technology, including smartphones, wind turbines and electric vehicles, account for 29 percent of rare earths consumption. Analysts expect that demand for magnet rare earths neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium will continue to rise alongside demand for these technologies over the next decade and beyond.
The School Buzz: Fox Meadow Middle School Teacher shows “heart on a daily basis”
Gabby Apodaca is a middle school teacher at Fox Meadow who goes above and beyond for her students.
According to a school district spokesperson, Apodaca welcomes her students into class with her heart on a daily basis.
Apodaca works in the CLD department, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse students. She helps her students succeed by creating Can Do charts, customized for each CLD student. She also makes home visits, delivering food and resources to students and their families when needed.
The school district says Ms. Apodaca is “not only an advocate for our students but also a hero to our community.”
