Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is reportedly “checked out” and “already accepting her fate” ahead of her potential ousting as Republican Conference Chair.
“House Republican sources tell us Cheney is ‘checked out’ and already accepting her fate. Unlike the last attempt to oust her in February, which she handily defeated, she’s not making calls or whipping,” Politico Playbook asserted Thursday.
The Playbook also contended, “A source close to Cheney said she intends to lean on the argument that leaders should be able to say what they think is right without repercussions.”

Democrats and establishment Republicans are supporting Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) to retain the House Republican Conference Chair position amid House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) stating Tuesday Cheney is not “carrying out the message.”

Smartmatic alleges that Fox News “saw an opportunity to capitalize on President Trump’s popularity” after his 2020 election loss, and that it did not report on the “demonstrable and irrefutable” truth that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ victory “was not stolen, rigged, or fixed.” Instead, the suit says, the network and its on-air personalities made a “villain” out of Smartmati
