A fundraising campaign to help save a vital part of the community has exceeded all expectations. In December last year, the Art Group for Stroke Survivors launched its fundraising plea and recently shot over its target of £1000 allowing the group to keep on going through the third lockdown. It had been a challenging time for all and now, like many others, the group are excited at the prospect of coming back together again. The fundraiser has been such a success that the group will be joined by WeCan - a wellbeing project being brought into Cumbria by iCan Health & Fitness CIC.
