9 & 10 News July 29, 2021 Traverse City Area Public Schools announced Thursday that it will reopen the former Interlochen Community School as an early childhood education center. With a new focus, the building will now be named the Interlochen Early Childhood Center & Interlochen Innovation Center and will make its return as a daily educational center, including the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP), a state-funded, high quality preschool program free of charge to qualified families.
