Two suspects in the shooting incidents Nov. 26 have reportedly waived extradition to Nevada. Kayleigh Lewis and Shawn McDonnell are facing charges in Arizona and Nevada related to several shooting incidents in both states. They had an extradition hearing Dec. 8 in La Paz County Superior Court. A statement from the Clerk of the Superior Courtâs office said they both signed papers waiving extradition.
A hearing to review the matter has been set for 9 a.m. on Jan. 11, 2021 in La Paz County Superior Court.
Lewis and McDonnell, along with McDonnellâs brother, Christopher, are facing multiple felony charges in shooting incidents that took place the morning of Nov. 26 in Henderson, Nev. and north of Parker on State Route 95. The trio are accused of wounding four people at a convenience store in Henderson, along with killing 22-year-old Kevin Mendiola.
