More than a third (34.3%) of
FTSE 350 board positions are now held by women, with the number of women on boards increasing by 50% over the last 5 years, data released today (Wednesday 24 February) shows, representing a dramatic shift in representation at the very highest levels of British business.
The review found the number of FTSE board roles held by women is now 1,026
In 2015, just 682 women held board positions in the UK s biggest companies
It means 34.3% of FTSE 350 board roles are now held by women, up from 21.9%
There are also no all-male boards left, against 15 in 2015, the report revealed
