Chillicothe Council passed six pieces of legislation during its regular session, Monday.
Council approved ordinances for an agreement that allows the city to be eligible for state reimbursement for appointing counsel for indigent criminal defendants through 2021; appropriating $125,000 for City Income Tax refunds; $14,870 to repair a traffic signal control box; appropriating funds for end-of-year expenses; transferring $28,348 from IT salary to outside contracts; extending the Chillicothe Municipal Court Victim Witness Assistance Program and accepting related grant funds.
Council tabled a third reading of an ordinance that would create four Chillicothe Downtown Redevelopment Districts in order to work out additional details prior to a vote.
