The southbound turn lane on Vernon View Drive onto Coshocton Avenue is closed.
Eastwood Drive is closed.
Sychar Road to Beech Street from eastbound traffic on Coshocton Avenue from the downtown area.
Vernon View to Beech Street from westbound traffic on Coshocton Avenue from the Howard area.According to Lt. Travis Tharp of the Mount Vernon Police Department, the closures could last well beyond 4 p.m.

Man cited after vehicle crash causes power outage
COSHOCTON, Ohio – On May 1st, 2021, at approximately 2:42 AM the Sheriff’s Office received a report on a non-injury accident in the 400 block of Clow Lane if the City of Coshocton.
Upon arrival of Deputies it was determined that Joshua Baisden, 38 years old, from Coshocton County was traveling East on Clow Lane in a 2007 Ford Edge, when he went off the left side of the roadway striking a power pole.
Baisden was cited for failure to control. No injuries were reported. The damage from the crash caused a power outage for several locations in the area.
