WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (WMC) - The City of West Memphis welcomed walk-ins at a vaccination event Friday.
Crittenden County residents currently eligible for the vaccine were invited to West Memphis High School Lehr Arena to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. All spots were filled by early Friday afternoon.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. On Friday (Dec. 18) U. S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Ben Carson awarded approximately $78 million to hundreds of public housing authorities across the country to help residents of public housing and voucher-assisted housing increase their earned income and reduce their dependency on public assistance and rental subsidies.
According to HUD, 15 Arkansas Housing Authorities will share in $620,454 under the program.
