Absent from the meeting was Elizabeth Arnold. LOCK HAVEN The Clinton County Community Foundation doled out almost $300,000 to community organizations at its annual meeting on Wednesday. The Foundation’s board reviewed each of the 62 grant applications that totaled $440,812 and discussed their intended uses before making final decisions totaling $296,939.

Updated: Area street parking restrictions start tomorrow due to snow

A winter storm is expected to bring a hefty amount of snow to the area starting tomorrow and continuing into Thursday. Experts are predicting that we could see up to a foot of snow in some areas, leading officials to announce precautions and preparations.  UPDATED 12/16/2020, 11:30 a.m. Williamsport Bureau of Fire/Mark Killian, Fire Chief & Emergency Management Coordinator Williamsport s Streets and Parks department will have all available plow and salt trucks operating for the duration of the storm; however, it will be nearly impossible to keep up with the rate of snowfall predicted overnight. Please be patient. Main thoroughfares will be given the highest priority. Side streets and alleys will take time to be cleared.
