Terrence Shannon Jr Is Running It Back as a Red Raider
On Wednesday afternoon, the deadline to withdraw from the NBA draft and return to school for College basketball players testing the waters, Terrence Shannon Jr tweeted the following video of Ronald Ross giving a motivational speech about Texas Tech. The video ends with a simple message, Run It Back.
The Red Raiders get a huge piece back in Shannon Jr who at times was the best player on the floor for Texas Tech last season even when coming off the bench. As a sophomore Shannon averaged nearly 13 points per game with four rebounds and a shooting percentage of better than 35% from beyond the arc. He was also one of five finalists for the Julius Erving Award, which goes to the best small forward in the nation.

All Things CW: Good Decisions Pay Off Big-Time for Alabama Players
After returning for a final year with the Crimson Tide, first-round picks Najee Harris, Alex Leatherwood and DeVonta Smith are all cashing in

So how good do those decisions look now?
Following the end of the disappointing 2019 season, a number of University of Alabama football players had the option of going pro early or sticking around for their final year of eligibility.
Granted, that s become pretty normal for the Crimson Tide under Nick Saban, but time it was different.
Alabama lost a bevy of premier players including tackle
Dallas Baptist star guard Chandler Jacobs has committed to Texas Tech.
Jacobs, a Division II All-American, has chosen Texas Tech as his next destination. The DBU transfer chose Tech over Cal, Vanderbilt, Wyoming, Colorado State, and Grand Canyon.
Not only was Jacobs named an All-American, but he was also named Lone Star Conference defensive player and academic player of the year.
Jacobs is coming off an amazing year at DBU, where he averaged 20.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists. He did all this while also averaging 2.5 steals and shooting 45 percent from 3-point range.
In the past couple days, it’s been obvious what coach Mark Adams has been targeting: shooting. They also picked up their only commit from the 2021 class in Trinity Christians Ethan Duncan. Both players are averaging greater than 40 percent from 3, so be expecting that ball to be flying from beyond the arch quite a bit.
