VOV.VN - A Vietnamese University has entered into a partnership with Naver, the largest internet company in the Republic of Korea as part of a national strategy that seeks to transform the Southeast Asian nation into a global player in artificial intelligence by the start of the next decade, according to Japanese financial publication Nikkei Asia.
The move has seen Naver Group partner with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), one of the leading Vietnamese institutions to launch country’s first artificial intelligence (AI) research centre in Hanoi capital.
The new facility is set to play a major role in Hanoi s goal of nurturing the local high-tech sector and pushing ahead with plans to become an AI research and development leader by 2030.

Armed with little more than a smartphone and a dream, inexperienced cryptocurrency investors in Vietnam are hoping to hit it big with Pi – a cryptocurrency that can be mined from a phone.
As the crypto-craze in Vietnam continues being fueled by skyrocketing bitcoin prices and overnight millionaires, investors in the country are looking for low-barrier avenues to make their own fortunes on digital currency.
Enter Pi, a relatively new digital token that can be mined through the Pi Network app, advertised as “breakthrough tech [that] allows you to mine [Pi] on your phone without draining your battery.”

The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) is building a plan to develop digital human resources for national digital transformation.
The plan ‘Raising awareness, preparing skills and developing human resources for national digital transformation by 2025, with a vision until 2030’, calls for training in skills for digital transformation, digital technology, digital services and digital business; and the building of a core force and network of specialists for digital transformation nationwide which will lead, organize and spread the digital transformation process, which will be the key factor that contributes to ensure rapid, effective and sustainable digital transform
