TN URGING another Federal election to secure a government strong enough to effect drastic national economies, The Financial Post summarizes the tax reduction program of the Ontario Associated Boards of Trade and Chambers of Commerce as
follows: The Dominion Government will be asked at the next session of Parliament to reduce the income tax to rates at least as low as those in the United States; to exempt income tax paid to countries other than Canada, provided all income derived from sources outside Canada must be included with income derived from Canada; to exempt from income tax carrying charges on non-dividend-paying securities; to exempt from income tax taxes paid to municipal and provincial governments
