The Foresters made it 3-0 when Carson Wells knocked in Leach.  Higgins drove in the eventual winning run, bringing home Tanner O Tremba on a sacrifice fly in the fifth. The Oaks pulled to 4-3 on a two-run homer off Steven Zobac in the ninth. But Zobac regrouped and closed out the game for his first save. The Foresters (25-7, 17-7 in the CCL) take Monday off before heading into the final week of the regular season. They play road games at Arroyo Seco and OC Riptide and Tuesday and Wednesday, and return to Pershing Park for their final homestand on Thursday against the Oaks.

Higgins drove in Thomas with his second hit of the game. Josh Stinson and Seth Stephenson each singled before  Andrew Kachel hit a two-run single with two outs. Christian Delashmit started for the Foresters. He allowed one run on five hits and six walks, while striking out six in 4.1 innings. Cooper Randall and Connor Roberts finished out the game, combining for six strikeouts. The Riptide stranded 14 baserunners against the Forester pitchers.
