President Cyril Ramaphosa s address focuses on COVID-19, economic recovery and reforms as well as the fight against corruption.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has laid out four pillars that the government is focused on for this year: dealing with Covid-19; accelerating economic recovery; creating jobs and inclusive economic growth; and fighting corruption and strengthen the state.

On this day, 31 years ago, President Nelson Mandela walked out of the gates of Victor Verster prison a free person, a living embodiment of the resilience and courage of the South African people.
