The National Security Agency today announced Rob Joyce will replace Anne Neuberger as the chief of its cybersecurity directorate.
Joyce, a 2018 Fed 100 winner, is currently serving as a special liaison officer for the NSA at the U.S. Embassy in London. He was previously a senior advisor for cybersecurity strategy to the NSA director. Prior to that he was a special assistant to the president and cybersecurity coordinator in the National Security Council for the Trump administration in 2018.
Neuberger was recently tapped by President-elect Joe Biden to become deputy national security advisor for cyber and emerging technology. She was also first to the lead the NSA s cybersecurity directorate, which was established in October 2019.
