Habitat offers 6 homes in National City
San Diego Habitat for Humanity is offering six affordable homes at Harding Avenue and West 18th Street in National City for purchase by qualified buyers. Applicants who are selected will be invited to help build and buy their own home, which will be sold at an affordable price that will not be greater than 30 percent of the buyer’s household income. The planned homes are attached row townhomes with garages, three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and will range from 1,100 to 1,300 square feet. Habitat for Humanity is hosting a virtual orientation in English and Spanish on demand from July 19-25. The orientation will introduce San Diego Habitat for Humanity, the homeownership program requirements, and how to apply to buy a home through the organization. CV council to hold budget hearing
The Chula Vista City Council will consider its 2021-22 budget at its next meeting, 5 p.m. Tuesday. The public hearing will give people an additional opportunity to participate and offer comments.
