Genealogy buffs hold online class Tuesday
An Intermediate Genealogy Class, presented in a live online webinar by the North San Diego County Genealogical Society, will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Jeanette Shiel will discuss “Researching New York State Records.”

After thieves stole hundreds of dollars in equipment from National Comedy Theatre in Mesa, the community stepped in to help the struggling business in a big way. FOX 10 s Steve Nielsen reports.
MESA, Ariz. - For most of this year, the National Comedy Theatre in Mesa has made no money.
Since a tightly packed theatre is a bad idea in a pandemic, they had a solution to their financial woes - outdoor shows in a lot across the street from their business. However, it s just a slab of concrete and was going to require hard work and money to bring it to life.
After thieves stole hundreds of dollars in equipment from National Comedy Theatre in Mesa, the community stepped in to help the struggling business in a big way. FOX 10's Steve Nielsen reports.

Tara Johansen says improv comedy classes are the best way she knows for the introverted to meet other people. “I had just moved to San Diego a year earlier and I found it very hard to make friends. I had just gone through a bad divorce.” She says she took a chance with Finest City Improv. Johansen says that extemporaneous team efforts to pretend that you are riding kittens in outer space is a rare bonding opportunity. “It was the best feeling I ever experienced.All my friends came from there.”
