Popular Action Party : Focus On Implanting Different Organs
The Secretary General and other party members are currently touring the regions and implanting basic organs of the party.
Some officials of the Popular Action Party (PAP) led by the Secretary General, have for some time now been directing party resources at implanting different organs and party cells across the nation. For the past one month, the Secretary General of PAP has been touring the northern regions of Cameroon, meeting the grassroots population and preaching the political ideologies of the party. The officials during the tour are also encouraging Cameroonians of voting age to have themselves enlisted on the voters’ registers. The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Caretaker Committee on Wednesday voided the suspension of the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, and some members of the party in Rivers State.
A faction of APC in Rivers led by Igo Aguma had on Monday announced the suspension of Amaechi, Senator Andrew Uchendu, and Isaac Ogbobula for alleged anti-party activities.
The faction also expelled the party’s former National Deputy Secretary, Victor Giadom, for the same reason.
However, the APC national leadership in a letter signed by its Head of Legal Services, Dare Oketade, described the suspension of the party’s chieftains as a nullity and of no effect.

Former Chairman of the Special Presidential Panel for the Recovery of Public Property, Okoi Obono-Obla, has said that zoning the 2023 presidential ticket to the South East will help to heal the wounds and scars left behind by the Nigeria tragic civil war.
Obono-Obla, who was also a former co-Secretary Joint Inter Party Merger Committee that negotiated the merger of opposition parties to form the APC in 2013, said the South East and the South-South regions deserve his sympathy because they feel marginalized.
The former National Deputy Secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, Secretary CPC merger Committee and National Legal Adviser of CPC between 2009 and 2010, said that the old eastern region which is part of South-South and southeast should be carried along so that they will feel a sense of belonging.
