In a recent press conference, Kidlat Tahimik, National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts, explained the effort as hinged on redefining heroism. He said, “Para sa akin, magandang catalyzer ito bilang pang-udyok para maka-focus tayo on heroism but also maybe redefine it: ‘Ano ba talaga ang heroism?’” According to Kidlat, 78, heroes aren’t the only ones found in books.
