Hallowell’s “Downtown-to-Woods Scavenger Hunt,” is to run from Saturday, July 31, to Sunday, Aug. 15.
The two-week event has been organized by Vision Hallowell, the Hallowell Conservation Commission and Kennebec Land Trust.
People can visit some of the many businesses that have opened recently or reconnect with old favorites downtown. Hallowell’s Vaughan Woods has been overcrowded recently, so the groups look to introduce the community to other outdoor Hallowell places, like “Little Egypt.”
