Bureau of Land Management Seeks Input on Landscape Management
Roseburg, Ore. – As part of the commitment to improve forest resiliency and sustainability, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Roseburg District is proposing a plan to maintain and enhance habitat diversity within Late-Successional and Riparian Reserves throughout the South River Field Office. The BLM is seeking public input on the proposed plan. This input is critical to the planning process and to determining the scope of issues to be addressed in the environmental assessment (EA).
Late-Successional Reserves and Riparian Reserves are allocated to contribute to the conservation and recovery of threatened and endangered species, and provide clean water in watersheds.
