The unique name is an ode to owner Kevin Winston’s sons.

Restauranteur Kevin Winston is set to open the second location of Kendall Karsen’s Upscale Soulfood in DeSoto.
The restaurant, which has its first location in South Dallas, holds significant value to Winston as both a restaurant and ode to his sons, who he named his restaurant after. It’s a restaurant where he serves up food “prepared with love and from the heart,” he said.
DeSoto is one of four Texas cities recognized for the first-time as Tree City USA cities, Crossroads Today reported. Conroe, McAllen and Shady Shores also.

Dallas police were called about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday to the Super 7 Inn in the 4200 block of Independence Drive, near West Camp Wisdom and South Cockrell Hill roads. Miles was stabbed multiple times.
Miles was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
