At the Municipality of South Bruce Council meeting that took place on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2021, correspondence was received from Mr. David R. Donnelly of Donnelly Law on behalf of his client Protect Our Waterways – No Nuclear Waste, which outlined questions and concerns related to South Bruce’s ongoing participation in the site selection process with the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO).
A motion was passed by Council which directed Mr. Patrick Duffy of Stikeman Elliott, who is the legal counsel with respect to South Bruce’s participation in the site selection process with the NWMO, to provide a response to Mr. Donnelly.
