Since moving to Ocean View in 2005, my husband Jim and I knew that Beebe would be our destination in the event of a medical emergency. In 2007, I read a media article about Beebe’s plans for a much-needed South Coastal Health Campus. As a former critical care RN, I closely followed the news and long-range plans.

Members of the Cape Artists’ Gallery in Lewes recently decided to support Beebe Healthcare in recognition of the critical work carried on by the healthcare system during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The artists offered Beebe team members 10 percent off all purchases of framed and unframed original art during the month of March. They also contributed a percentage of their total March sales to Beebe Medical Foundation in support of greatest needs at Beebe Healthcare.
Did you know that recent studies have proven that viewing art can help to reduce stress and anxiety? Are you aware that the walls of Beebe Healthcareâs new South Coastal Cancer Center and Emergency Department are adorned with beautiful art created by talented local artists and photographers?
David Truppo is one of these gifted people. His knack for capturing nature with his camera is amazing, and his photos are both lovely to see and soothing to the body and soul. Although Truppo is technically an amateur, his work is well known. He became interested in the art of photography as a young boy, and has never looked back.
