Last month, Oxfordshire County Council anounced plans to implement a new LTN in East Oxford. This would result in traffic filters being placed throughout Divinity Road, St Mary s and St Clement s. Locals from the affected and surrounding areas were asked by the council to take part in its month-long consultation. Results published tonight reveal that majority of those who responded to the consultation strongly objected the plans. In total 2012 residents responded to the consulation online and a further 33 paper copies were also recieved by the council. What did the results show? Divinity Road: 36 per cent of respondants fully supported the plan ....
