Starbucks put vegan beef made by Beyond Meat on the menu in the Middle East. The plant-based food appears on two sandwiches the coffee giant recently released as part of its partnership with Beyond Meat. But the sandwiches themselves contain dairy and are not vegan.
The Seattle-based chain launched the menu items earlier this month in response to a growing demand for plant-based protein alternatives in the region. The new additions are now available at approximately 190 outlets in Dubai. They’re also available in locations in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and across Kuwait.

Everyone s favorite coffee chain is making it easier to learn better diet habits in 2021 by encouraging its customers to embrace its Meatless Mondays every week this January. For the next three weeks, you can save $2 on a few of the chain s signature vegetarian breakfast offerings including the newer Impossible Breakfast Sandwich, which has intrigued diners who had yet to try faux meat since its release in summer 2020.
Starbucks is joining the Meatless Monday campaign by offering two dollars off meatless menu items, but there s a catch: The discount only applies to vegetarian items and cannot be altered to be vegan.
For every Monday during the weeks of January 4th to January 25th, Starbucks will offer $2 off vegetarian items including the Impossible Breakfast Sandwich, Southwest Veggie Wrap, and Spinach Feta and Egg White Wrap. This Meatless Monday discount is great for vegetarians or anyone who is looking to ditch meat from their diet, although not optimal for strict vegans.
In order to get the discount, the menu items can t be altered in any way, such as no egg to make it vegan. The order also must be placed in-store rather than through a third-party delivery service like or Seamless or Uber Eats for the discount to apply.

In 2021, Starbucks will join the Meatless Monday campaign for the first time. Every Monday from January 4 to January 25, the chain will offer customers $2 off its vegetarian breakfast items at participating stores to promote its meatless options. The offer cannot be combined with other offers and applies to the Impossible Breakfast Sandwich (which it launched nationwide in June), the Southwest Veggie Wrap, and the Spinach Feta & Egg White Wrap all vegetarian options that cannot be ordered vegan. The discount cannot be redeemed through Uber Eats delivery.
