NEW BEDFORD From his first day this summer as principal of Holy Family Holy Name School (HFHN) in New Bedford, Deacon Peter Schutzler worked with the goal of opening the school for full in-person learning as of Sept. 1, a press release from the school stated.
“The HFHN team of teachers and staff members worked tirelessly all summer to reorganize the school for social distancing, install the new touchless hand sanitizers, and re-work all class movement procedures. Deacon Peter provided constant updates to the school community of plans, goals, and ways to keep everyone safe during this challenging time,” the release stated.
