Chamoli (Uttarakhand) [India], February 11 (ANI): The rescue teams on Thursday have started a drilling operation to peep into the 'slush flushing tunnel' 12 to 13 meters below the tunnel where these teams are presently taking out slush from the Tapovan tunnel in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) informed.
Chamoli (Uttarakhand), February 11 (ANI): The director of National Thermal Power Corporation's (NTPCs) Tapovan hydropower project - Ujjwal Bhattacharya on Thursday informed that they have suspended drilling operation for a time being as the water is coming in the tunnel in which at least 30 people are feared to be trapped inside.
