An Emmaus man and a second man, who was living in a Lehigh County hotel, are charged in the illegal straw purchases of 29 firearms to settle drug debts, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said Friday.
The felony arrests followed a joint investigation by the Attorney General’s Office’s Gun Violence Section; U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and Emmaus police.

Four people are charged with firearms offenses and 19 guns were seized following a joint surveillance operation by the state attorney general’s office and the Monroeville police at the Pittsburgh Gun Show in Monroeville.
Attorney General Josh Shapiro on Monday announced the arrests and gun seizures. They took place the weekend of Feb. 6-7.
David Fields, Tanesha Olverson, Robert Raglin and Elizabeth Rexrode were arrested at the gun show and charged with illegal straw purchases of firearms, officials said. Olverson, Raglin and Rexrode are from Allegheny County. Voter records show Rexrode is from Monroeville; Raglin is from Pittsburgh and Overson is from Duquesne.

MONROEVILLE, PA Four people were arrested and 19 guns were seized following a joint surveillance operation at the Monroeville Gun Show by the Pennsylvania Attorney General s Office and the Monroeville Police Department.
David Fields, Tanesha Olverson, Robert Raglin and Elizabeth Rexrode were each arrested at the Monroeville Gun Show during the weekend of Feb. 6-7 for their roles in the illegal straw purchases of firearms.
Fields is prohibited from purchasing a firearm, and Raglin, a convicted felon, is prohibited from
purchasing or possessing a firearm. Olverson and Rexroad acted as straw purchasers to acquire firearms for people prohibited from having them.
