A Duluth man who allegedly shot a gun several times into the air during an incident in Superior’s north end bar district Saturday, Dec. 12, made his initial appearance in Douglas County Circuit Court Monday.
Cameron Gary Norris, 22, faces one felony charge of first-degree recklessly endangering safety with the use of a dangerous weapon and a misdemeanor count of operating a firearm while intoxicated. He was released Wednesday on a cash bond of $10,000 and was ordered not to use or possess alcohol, not possess any firearms and have no contact with Lady Vi’s in Superior, where the incident took place.

Superior Police Investigate Shooting in Fight Outside Tower Ave Businesses
One person had non-gunfire injuries after the fight, another was injured when some suspects crashed their vehicle fleeing.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The Superior Police Department is investigating a report of shots fired in an altercation Saturday morning resulting in two injuries and a car crash on the Blatnik Bridge.
According to a department spokesperson, around 12:32 a.m. Saturday officers responded to a report of gunfire in the vicinity of 628 Tower Avenue and 702 Tower Avenue, the locations of Lady Vi’s and Centerfolds Cabaret.
Officers said there was an altercation at this location and that during the course of the incident several shots were fired from one or more firearms.

The Superior Police Department reports that an altercation in the North End Bar district late Friday night led to injuries, several shots being fired from one or more firearms, a crash and multiple arrests.
Officers were dispatched to the vicinity of 628 and 702 Tower Avenue, where Lady Vi s and Centerfolds are located just after 12:30am.
Police say their preliminary investigation indicated that there was an altercation at this location and during the course of the incident, several shots were fired from one or more firearms.
According to police, one party was treated and transported from the scene for injuries he sustained during the altercation, but police note that the injuries were not inflicted by gun fire. Later, this person was taken into custody for his involvement in the fight.
