Man, 38, found fatally shot at Red Bird car wash, Dallas police say

A 38-year-old man was found fatally shot early Saturday at a car wash in the Red Bird area, police said.
A Dallas police patrol sergeant responded about 1:45 a.m. to a report of an unresponsive person lying on the ground of Camp Wisdom Carwash at 7171 American Way, near Interstate 20 and South Westmoreland Road.
The sergeant found Jermaine Thomas unconscious with a gunshot wound on the floor of the self-service car wash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dallas police are searching for the person who shot a man Wednesday afternoon while he sat in a vehicle in east Oak Cliff.
Officers were called at about 1:30 p.m. to the 2900 block of East Ledbetter Road, where they found Kermit Carradine in the passenger seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound.
Carradine, 41, was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries Friday, police said.
