Miya Ponsetto was arrested Thursday evening after an interview with Gayle King, where she attempted to defend herself for falsely accusing a 14-year-old Black boy of stealing her phone before assaulting him.

Police officers from the NYPD are to fly 2,500 miles to California in order to question the woman dubbed Soho Karen , 22-year-old Miya Ponsetto
Ponsetto is to be questioned by detectives where she may be arrested and possibly extradited back to New York depending on her answers.

Keyon Harrold posted an Instagram video of her hastily accusing his teenage son of taking her cellphone while in the lobby of the Arlo SoHo Hotel in Manhattan where the Harrold’s were staying.

The video shows Ponsetto lunging at the younger Harrold, demanding he prove that the phone he was holding was not her phone. The elder Harrold defended his son from the woman, all while capturing the incident on his phone.
