A SCHOOL has unveiled its new headteacher who will take over in September. Our Lady’s Abingdon (OLA) has announced Daniel Gibbons will be taking over the position for the next academic year. Mr Gibbons will join from Downside School in Somerset, where he is currently deputy headteacher. He has also worked at the British International School in Jakarta, Indonesia. He said: “I aim to build on OLA’s academic excellence and co-curricular enrichment, in addition to the school’s commitment to providing outstanding pastoral care, so that we can nurture ‘future ready’ pupils.”
