A se­ri­ous in­stance of pros­e­cu­to­r­i­al mis­con­duct was not enough to de­rail the tri­al of two men ac­cused of the bru­tal mur­der of Sean Luke.
De­liv­er­ing a 22-page de­ci­sion yes­ter­day af­ter­noon, High Court Judge Lisa Ram­sumair-Hinds dis­missed an ap­pli­ca­tion for a per­ma­nent stay of the case, which was based on the fact that the as­signed pros­e­cu­tor had rep­re­sent­ed one of ac­cused men briefly be­fore join­ing the Of­fice of the Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tions (DPP). ....
