Hospitality business on market for £1.7m sold to couple
Near Howe
A former farmhouse in Cumbria that was turned into a self-catering hospitality business has been sold for an undisclosed sum.
Near Howe, between Keswick and Penrith, was on the market for £1.7 million.
It has been bought Mark and Fiona Shore, who will be moving to the Lakes from Hertfordshire.
The former owners, Steve and Jill Woolley, were represented by the specialist hotels agency team at real estate advisors Colliers.
Funding for the purchase was provided by the Cumberland Building Society.
Near Howe has views over the surrounding Lake District National Park.

It s hard to imagine the whole area was at one time sitting beneath a gigantic river of ice.
