The man was found after cutting off his ankle monitor Share Updated: 5:52 PM CDT Apr 29, 2021 An inmate serving a six-to-ten year sentence at the Community Corrections Center- Omaha for a robbery/carjacking escaped from a nearby work release facility late Tuesday night. Omaha police arrested Antony Gonzales, 22, shortly after.According to the Nebraska Department of Corrections, Gonzales arrived back at the facilty before midnight in a private vehicle when staff members said they saw him assault the driver. They removed Gonzales from the car and tried to put him in handcuffs but he ran off. One guard sprayed the substance commonly referred to as pepper spray at Gonzales but the wind took it away.Omaha police offic
