Norfolk church projects receive part of £5m funds Two Norfolk churches and a Christian conference centre have received part of almost £5m worth of government grants to be given out to arts and heritage groups across Norfolk. Amongst those to benefit in Norfolk from the Culture Recovery Fund are Letton Hall Trust (£44,100), The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Great Yarmouth (£47,100) and The Cathedral of St John the Baptist Trust (£95,700)
Letton Hall, a Christian conference centre in Breckland that usually welcomes hundreds of people from churches and youth groups every year, was forced to close for 15 months during the pandemic and, at times, the future of the centre looked uncertain. ....

RNAA managing director Mark Nicholas said the funding would secure its future and culminate in the return of the Royal Norfolk Show in 2022. He said: The last 18 months have been extremely challenging for organisations such as ourselves and this grant will enable the RNAA and Norfolk Showground Ltd to power forward in the months ahead as we welcome visitors to Norfolk Showground. This funding will help us invest in the Showground site, deliver the roll-out of summer and autumn cultural programme and enhance our systems and process to improve our resilience in dealing with changes as a consequence of the pandemic. ....
St Wulfram s church in Grantham takes big step towards wholeness and wellbeing centre Published: 14:00, 27 February 2021 Plans to extend the activities of St Wulframâs Church by using space in nearby Grantham House have taken a big step forward. The church has taken on two members of staff to work in Grantham House, which will become the Wulfram Centre for Wholeness and Wellbeing.
