Trinity Health Nutrition Services has released its schedule of grocery store tours and cooking classes in 2021. The series, consisting of five grocery tours and four cooking classes, will offer ideas to help families enhance mealtime with foods that are tasty, nutritious, and affordable.
The series kicks off with a cooking class, “Healthy Swaps,” January 12 from 2 to 3 p.m. “Participants will learn how to swap ingredients that can transform recipes into healthier versions of themselves,” said series coordinator Outpatient Dietitian Kayla Cole, RDN, LRD.
New to the series is a grocery tour, “Shopping on a Budget,” and a companion cooking class, “Cooking on a Budget. “The idea is to share tricks and tips to help people stick within their budget and still provide their families with healthy, satisfying food,” Cole said.
