RARITAN BOROUGH – It looks like Raritan is ahead in the race to open an apartment building next to a railroad station on NJ Transit s Raritan Valley Line.
Leasing has begun for the 256 apartments at Crossings at Raritan Station which occupies a block along Second Street next to the railroad tracks from First Avenue to Second Avenue. The apartments are across First Avenue from LabCorp s expanding facility.
Twenty of the apartments will be affordable units.
