At first, it seemed dubious that National Margarita Day would take place on Feb. 22. (Shouldn’t the classic cocktail of tequila, lime, and orange liqueur be celebrated during warmer weather?)
In a way, though, it makes sense. We can probably all use a little sunshine-in-a-glass right now. Plus, it’s on a Monday, which happens to coincide with several Margarita Monday specials at local restaurants.
