Norman Funderburk of Humble has announced his candidacy for the position of mayor of the City of Humble in the election set for May 1, 2021.
“I believe that my track record of service in the community speaks to the level of pride, dedication and commitment that I have for the city I love and for its citizens. I have a servant’s heart and want to have a positive impact and make a difference for our community,” Funderburk said in launching his campaign.
Funderburk was first elected to Humble City Council in 2014, re-elected in 2016, 2018 and 2020, and was serving in his fourth term at the time he stepped down to run for mayor.
