Greystar Closes on Remaining 55% Interest in Thackeray Partners

CHARLESTON, S.C. and DALLAS, May 17, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC (“Greystar”), a global leader in the investment, development, and management of rental housing properties, today closed on the previously announced acquisition of Thackeray Partners (“Thackeray”), a leading private real estate investment firm with expertise in rental housing and industrial asset management. In October of 2020, Greystar acquired 45% of Thackeray with the future option to purchase the remainder of ownership interest within two years. This announcement marks the closing of the remaining 55%.

A developer is kicking off two Tarrant County industrial projects – one in Arlington and another in Fort Worth.
Dallas-based Jackson-Shaw has already started construction on Parc 20, a two-building, 154,127-square-foot business park in Arlington. The project is being built on a vacant tract on South Collins Street.
And in Fort Worth, Jackson-Shaw is building 46 Ranch Logistics Park, a three-building industrial project with more than 560,000 square feet. Eventually, the business park on Altamesa Boulevard in South Fort Worth is planned for more than 2 million square feet of construction.
