Belton ISD Board of Trustees votes to pay employees for five winter weather days Belton ISD and last updated 2021-02-24 21:44:26-05 BELTON, TX â The Belton ISD Board of Trustees has voted to pay employees for the five days of closure brought on by the winter weather. The vote was unanimous during Monday s meeting. The board also voted to submit two waivers. The first is a Missed School Days waiver to the Texas Education Agency for the missed days. If accepted, the district would not have to make up the missed instruction time. The second waiver is to receive credit for instructional minutes on February 12. The day was deemed a virtual learning day by the district.
